I'm making a version of Crucible of War that deals with sailing ships. It's an ambitious project and almost done, but I am having trouble finding top-view images of Napoleonic-era ships to design the ship tokens with. Ideally I'd like to have French, English, Spanish and perhaps even American ships of the era, but I'll probably end up settling for some basic designs. If anyone can point me in the right direction of a website, stock gallery, or even a book I might be able to find at the library, I'd be very appreciative!

The G-Bomb! name is now dead. Rest in peace. From the ashes arises Gowsk once more, reeking of rot and decay and shrouded in the dust of ages. Hello there. ;)

I love stumbling upon other talented winnipeggers on DA
Cheers for the fav.
Thanks for the :+fav: of La Salle Serenity, I am so glad you like it and fav'd it, it is one of my favorite paintings. :D
It is a really amazing piece of work, I thought it was a photo at first glance! It reminded me a lot of the photographs I took by the creek by the Trappist monastery in Winnipeg, where I used to spend a lot of time enjoying the nature and sunshine.
Oh thank you so much, I get the photo thing a lot with my work but in person they are not quite as photographic looking. That is from a spot about 4 kilometers from the Trappist Monastery in the middle of La Barrier Park. I really like that area as I live in the very south of the city in Fort Richmond. I will actually have it for sale in the fall at the show at the Downs.
thank you so much for the fav.
Forgot to thank you for the fav on Sol! :thanks:
